Be well prepared for the ÖSD exam!
The aim of this Intensive German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Course is for you to develop the necessary skills and test strategies for passing the ÖSD exam successfully. It takes place every month and runs from Monday to Friday, during 2 hours each day. Course times are always from 3-5 pm in the afternoons. This German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Course has only one aim: To get you fit to pass your targeted ÖSD level!

This course prepares you for the "ÖSD-way-of-thinking" in all relevant parts: reading, listening, speaking and writing - the 4 skills measured by means of the ÖSD exam. To pass ÖSD you need to be very familiar not only with the German language, but also with the exam tasks - this means you need to train appropriate test strategies to complete all tasks in the given time.
A typical Intensive German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Course starts with a sample exam to determine your starting point. You receive this sample exam by mail already a few days before the course starts, so you arrive to your first course day already with a clear idea of where you stand. You will then be guided by our ÖSD-experienced and helpful teachers to develop all the necessary skills and test strategies to master all the exam tasks.
Most learners need particular assistance in the areas of German writing and speaking. As part of your preparation you will complete as many writing and speaking tasks as necessary, and each time you will receiveTo prepare you for the speaking tasks you will work with audio recordings, which we analyse to track down and get rid of mistakes. You work with official ÖSD materials and a variety of specially selected supplemental materials. All course materials are included in the course fee.
Which level is right for you? I A2, B1 or B2?
To take part in this Intensive German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Course you should already have studied at the respective level. So, for example, if you are aiming to pass the ÖSD B2 exam, you should have already studied German at B2/1 and the B2/2 course phase. Of course you will also train your German language in this course, but the course focus is on TEST TAKING STRATEGIES.

You can register online, on the telephone or in person at your office. All our Intensive German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Courses at INNES are available to learners above the age of 16. Even though the majority of our learners is between 20 and 30, we do cover all ages including 60+.
ÖSD is a state-approved examination and assessment system for German as a Foreign Language / German as a Second Language. ÖSD exams focus mainly on communicative aspects which aim to assess foreign language competence in real-life situations. ÖSD exams correspond to the levels of the Common European Framework of Reference for Languages (CEFR). The ÖSD is to Germany, Austria and in Switzerland what the TOEFL or IELTS is to the rest of the (English-speaking) world. ÖSD B2 level is the usual requirement for the admission at the university and it is accepted in Germany, Austria and in Switzerland.

All of our Intensive German Language ÖSD Exam Preparation Course require a minimum of 3 registrations in order to take place. While we expect to reach this minimum in all courses, in the event that there are not enough participants registered by the Sunday evening before the first day of the course, we reserve the right to cancel the course and offer you one of the following alternative solutions: a) taking the same ÖSD Exam Preparation Course in the following month(s)b) shortening the course by 1 day c) processing a refund.
